Service Description
The purpose of mobilisation is to enhance movement by reducing stiffness and pain Joint mobilisation under the umbrella term manual therapy is a hands on approach to treatment, this is achieved when a therapist manually moves a peripheral limb of a patient with the aim to achieve a reduction in pain/ stiffness and an increase in range of motion. Joint mobilisation is often used as a great objective marker to assess the progress of a person’s recovery. At Epst in order to achieve the best result we often use Joint mobilisation alongside stretching to reduce the muscles surrounding the joint.
